About Me

Hi, I’m Sarah and I created Neuroembrace on the back of a leaving card, which was so full of heartfelt messages that I thought If I have helped these individuals so much, I want to make a difference to more peoples lives.

My Story

Hi, I’m Sarah Saunders founder of Neuroembrace, neurodivergent educator, consultant, and advocate.

I hold a Master’s in Managing and Understanding Social and Emotional Needs (with a focus on neurodivergency) and a BA in Education with a teaching certificate. My academic background is backed by decades of hands-on experience supporting children, families, and professionals across education, mental health, and inclusion in the workplace.

I’ve spent over 60 years navigating ADHD and dyslexia, 48 of those undiagnosed. I’m proudly neurodivergent, and my lived experience runs deep. I’ve spent 28 years with the most incredible autistic man, and I’m the proud mum of two grown-up daughters, one of whom is AuDHD. We’ve all faced our own struggles, and we’ve all flourished in our own way. That journey is at the heart of everything I do.

I created Neuroembrace to help organisations move beyond awareness into action. I work with HR teams, managers, and leaders who are ready to build neuroinclusive cultures, where neurodivergent staff don’t just survive, they thrive. Through training, consulting, and practical toolkits, I help businesses reduce overwhelm, unlock creativity, and foster trust.

I don’t do tick-box training. I bring energy, honesty, and a deep belief that things can be better. My sessions are rooted in lived experience and backed by research, but they’re also full of warmth, clarity, and real-world practicality. I meet people where they are, and I help them move forward, whether that’s a manager unsure how to support a team member, or someone newly diagnosed trying to make sense of it all. I’m here to make a difference.

Outside of work, dogs have held me together in ways I can’t fully explain. They’ve been my anchors, my guides, and maybe the reason I’m still here. I also find peace in wild swimming and freedom in campervanning, both help me regulate, reflect, and reconnect.

If you’re ready to lead with empathy, clarity, and courage, I’m here. Let’s build something extraordinary, together.
